What is it?

Doctors Connected (DrConnected) is a Social Network specifically developed for Doctors, Physicians, Allied Health. Doctors can easily connect with their Colleagues nationwide at no cost!

Introduction
We officially launched the alpha version of this powerful web-application a few months ago. We would like to introduce to you some of the great features that were implemented during November.

#1 DrConnected Blog
DrConnected blog was launched around the same time we release the first alpha version of our innovative social network for doctors.

#2 Recommendation Process
Implementation of a powerful Recommendation System in the Search Engine (if variable searched aren’t found). Basically what that means is, if you do not successfully find one of your colleagues on DrConnected’s system, you can easily send an invitation by email.

#3 Forgot your Password?
We also implemented the “Forgot your password” option to enable users to retrieve a new password.

#4 Strong Security Improvement
One of our main priorities is to always optimize our code to provide you and us more security. Major Security improvement was done when we released our version 0.6.4 alpha.

#5 Intuitive User-Interface
We proudly published the new branding of DrConnected a few days ago. It took us months (to say the least) to work on the branding of DrConnected. We created and worked on different styles, colors, and typography in trying to produce to most “easy to use” social network web-application on the market. As a visual communication firm, our goal is to provide physicians, with an intuitive application.

#6 Harmonized CSS
I am sure as a web developer you were -at least once- rushed to publish an application with unharmonized CSS, because of a time constraint or some other reason. It doesn’t impact user experience on your site at all, but it’s the kind of (silly) unfinished task that stays in the back of your mind haunting you. The solution to remedy this problem is as simple as erasing duplicates in your css file. But your strong web developer’s consciousness keeps bugging you until you finally harmonize the CSS of your application. No matter how low the impact is for the end-user, it’s just feels like cleaning your office or taking care of errants. Just great

#7 Got Feedback Option
Nothing is more important to us, than the user experience of our application. This is why we added the “Got Feedback” Button that you will find on the bottom right side of your screen, when you log in to your DrConnected Account. We already received some interesting feedback, and are working on implementing some new features.
